I woke up this morning with such a great feeling of Peace. Peace is a wonderful gift from our God. After speaking with the doctor last night and praying on this I have the greatest Peace with the entire situation.
Sue and I have had great confidence all along that this is nothing of major concern. Today my confidence is at its highest. The fact that I am in good health with no unexplained weight loss has all along been a positive indication. But the fact that the mass is free and not attached is a huge positive sign. If the mass were something bad it would be looking to attack something by attaching to it. It hasn't so it very likely isn't something bad. The Doctor is very confident that this is just a benign mass for all of these reasons and he has seen his share of both a good and bad.
The other great thing is that this is a one and done procedure. When there wasn't clarity if this was to do a biopsy or removal that meant the possibility of another surgery. With this procedure's objective being removal and the likelihood that it is benign that means one surgery, recovery and get on with life. What a blessing that will be.
I just wanted to share with you how great I feel physically, emothionally and spiritually. Peace is a wonderful gift from our wonderful God.
Thanks for your prayers, comments, emails, calls. We love you all.

Jerry - I am continuing to pray for you, Sue, and the kids. My discussion on the phone with you was very encouraging as I see how God is working in you to give you strength in what has to be a scary time. The news sounds encouraging today and I celebrate with you the peace that truly does surpass all comprehension.
Jerry, Sue and girls:
I love the title of the latest entry, "Peace is a wonderful gift". On Monday, and then again today, the Bible verses of the day on my calendar have been about peace. Monday's verse was Philippians 4:7, "And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." I thought it was a great verse, in light of what's going on, and the fact that it was your birthday on Monday.
Friday's verse is Proverbs 14:30, "A heart at peace gives life to the body, but envy rots the bones."
I truly believe that the peace God has given you is, and will continue to be, His mighty healing touch.
Thanks for sharing with all of us. You are in our thought and prayers.
Hi Jerry,
Your smile , charm and good attitude shines through in your words on the webbsite. The photo of your beautiful family reminds me of the first baby pictures you brought to the office and the pride that you had in sharing them with me. Well deserved are the blessings that have come to you. I pray that god’s blessings continue with you as you follow the journey through life. Those little babies have blossomed into beautiful women and yet, looking back, it seems like it has happened in a very short time. If life has issues for you i hope your courage and faith make them pass in a short time also. Thank you for including me on your e-mail list and, as always, i wish the best for you and yours.
Have a Merry Christmas And A Joyous New Year.
Your friend,
Noel
